Introducing the HP LaserJet Enterprise M4555 MFP series

On 01 June ’11, HP will introduce an exciting new range of black-and-white multifunction printer for commercial use: the HP LaserJet Enterprise M4555 MFP series. These products have been designed to replace the existing HP LaserJet M4345 MFP series, which has successfully led the commercial A4 MFP market since its launch in 2006.

The new HP LaserJet Enterprise M4555 MFP series will take over this remarkable heritage by continuing to provide all the reliability and durability of its predecessor, with the addition of new, innovative and industry-leading features, such as a 120 GB encrypted hard disk (except for the base model), a 900-sheet 3-bin stapling mailbox combination and a pivoting colour control panel. Read the full details Here.

Next generation printing with the new HP Designjet T790 ePrinter series

Discover the ease of next-generation printing from HP. On 01 June ’11, HP launches its new HP Designjet T790 ePrinter series. With its plug-and-play simplicity, it’s great for small workgroups in architectural, engineering or construction firms that need an easy-to-use, large-format printer. And it comes in two sizes, 610 mm and 1,118 mm.

Designed for easy sharing, both locally and over the internet, the printer lets you print without installing any drivers. You can even print directly from a USB thumb drive. The colour touch screen offers accurate print layout previews; eight GB memory allows complex files to be printed as easily as simple ones; and customers can web print directly from the touch screen using HP ePrint & Share. Read the full details Here.

HP launches its new heavy-duty, large-format option: the HP Designjet T1300 ePrinter series

Ideal for large workgroups in the architectural, engineering and construction sectors, the new HP Designjet T1300 ePrinter series (CR651A and CR652A) will be launched on 01 June ’11. These easy-to-use, versatile ePrinters come in the 1118 mm format, with two input rolls for greater productivity.

As part of HP’s ePrinter range, these devices offer driverless printing and a colour touch screen. Your customers can print directly from their computer or USB drive without installing drivers, and web print directly from the touch screen using HP ePrint & Share. And wastage is reduced thank to the accurate print layout previews available from the colour touch screen. Read the full details Here.

HP acquires Printelligent

HP No Comments

On 24th May, HP announced an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Printelligent, a provider of Managed Print Services (MPS). This represents a major milestone in HP’s commitment to be the leading managed print service provider across customer segments and routes to market. Printelligent is a privately held company based in the US and has been offering Managed Print Solutions to its customers since 1993.

The assets and capabilities of Printelligent, combined with HP’s hardware and services strength and current success in MPS, further strengthens our ability to deliver differentiated managed print services to small and medium businesses through our commercial channel partners.

The acquisition of Printelligent will enable us to deliver an improved set of Managed Print Service offerings for our channel partners. It also provides HP with an infrastructure platform to build a world class program which will support our channel partners at every level of MPS engagement.

HP has made significant investments in managed print services and solutions. Our recognized leadership in MPS with enterprise customers, currently offered channel programs such as HP QuickPage, HP Smart Printing Services, HP Pay-for-Print and Channel-led PPU, and investments with partners to support their MPS offerings are all examples of our commitment to continually improve and grow our MPS business.

Vyomesh Joshi, executive vice president, Imaging and Printing Group, HP spoke about the acquisition saying; “as a market leader in Managed Print Services, this acquisition puts us even further ahead by strengthening our ability to deliver services and solutions through our channel partners to SMB customers,” he went on to say “we’re reinforcing our commitment to our channel partners by bringing them a level of technology and experience that is unprecedented in the industry.”

While work continues on the go-to-market plans, HP will continue to expand and evolve our existing Channel MPS offerings and further updates will be released shortly.
